      Q: What kind of warranty do you offer?

      Some if not all frames have a one year defect warranty from its manufacturer. A lens that has a "premium" treatment (anti-reflective or scratch resistant) also carry a one year warranty against scratches.

      Q: Is it true that my prescription glasses are good for only 2 years?

      All doctor's precriptions expire, to insure the best in eye health. Regular exams are necessary as most individuals vision changes at two year intervals. This exam also can reveal other issues about your health and is not limited only to your vision.

      Q: How much of the bill will my insurance pay for?

      This can vary with the type of insurance you carry and its coverage. On the back of your insurance card, there is a number provided for this type of information, or you can bring in your insurance card and we would be glad to help with this process.

      Q: What is the cost of my prescription glasses?

      Starting at a cost of $198, depending on the style and material you choose. Our optician will help you determine basic needs for your prescription eyewear.

      Q: Do I need to have a 2nd pair of glasses if I wear contacts?

      It is important for you to have a pair of back-up glasses in case you have any kind of eye health problems. It is always recommended to remove contacts after a long period of wearing time to prevent drying of the eyes and for the cleanliness of your contacts.

      Q: Are the big box stores all that lower in price?

      No, most of the time some of the basic glasses frames that are advertised, will be the only thing that is lower in cost. Labels and popular styles, lenses, along with all the extras that you add, will increase the price in any retail store.

      Q: About how long is the wait for my glasses?

      Typically your prescription glasses will take 5 days to 10 days, this will depend on your prescription. Salem Eye Clinic has the finest production facilites that guarantees its quality and speedy service.

      Q: If i'm getting new glasses frames do I need to leave my current pair with you?

      To get the best fit possible the lab should have your current frames. Our lab       has electronic frame tracers which create and exact fit of the lenses to the frames.

      Q: Can you call and get my current prescription if I don't have it?

      Yes we can ask to have your current prescription faxed to us. However, you will need to sign a release form so we can acquire your records.

      Q: Will I receive a case with my new glasses?

      Yes, when you get your prescription glasses, cases will be provided.
